Garden Cottage is a newly built property in May 2006, and has been constructed to a very high standard. It is graded Four Star Scottish Tourist Board Quality Assurance and Green Tourism Award.

The house is situated just outside Tobermory on the Dervaig road, and has its own fenced garden, with private parking.  Garden Cottage has four bedrooms, three bath/shower rooms, a sun lounge used as well as dining area and an ordinary lounge.  Facilities include Sky TV, with full viewing package, Wireless Broadband access, utility room with washing machine and tumble drier, central heating, powered by a separate (Green friendly) woodchip boiler. The owners maintain the boiler.  All power and linen included in the price.   It has been designed to get the best of the summer sun and has views from its elevated position. An excellent place for bird watching.  The house is fully double glazed and insulated to a very high level.  No matter what the season, or the outside temperature, the house will be cosy and warm.

Accommodation is four bedrooms, two double and two twin.  One larger bedroom upstairs is
en-suite.   Upstairs also is a bathroom and downstairs a toilet-shower room.

The kitchen is 'open plan' with the main lounge, and is connected to the sun lounge/dining area with wide opening double doors. It has all the usual appliances, including fridge, freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker.  From the sun lounge, access is gained onto the decked raised patio. A gas Bar-B-Que is provided and the patio area faces west, to get the best of the summer sun.

Off road parking is available for up to three cars and is next to the cottage.

Linen and towels are provided and if the stay is for an extended period, bed linen be changed and extra cleaning provided.  A cot and highchair can be provided at no extra charge, please advise when booking. This property has its own private water supply.

Essentially, the cottage is close to Tobermory, yet has a feeling of being out in the countryside situated on our 'smallholding'. The house is equipped to a high standard and set up so that all you have to do after possibly a long journey is to walk in and relax.  The house is next to a small woodland and has many habitats around so is ideal for the enthusiastic bird watcher.

Because of the standard of the house we are non-smoking.
Well behaved dogs are welcome, so long as they are not left unattended in the property.  Please advise when booking.
